| Well, here I am to help you. Every new hard drive comes without anything on it. Literally anything. It just has free space and without any logical drive prepared for use, there isn’t any drive letter assigned to it, which is required for Explorer to identify the drive. Because of that, you’ll need to enter the Disk management utility. Right click on the real My Computer icon, not the shortcut, and select option “manage”. When there, you will be able to see your new drive. Select it and create new logical drives first. Format the drive and assign the drive letter to it, and that should be the whole procedure. |
