| Hi!Heh, keyboards. Must admit that is being just another thing that is caused by the language barriers between people. Different country, different keyboard, even for the countries that are kind of using the same language (USA, England). Do manufactures think they are special ‘cause of making those not very needed differences. Well you have already exclude the option that maybe if your keyboard is old can be filed with dust and dirt cause you mentioned you bought new PC, so I will suggest other thing. Go to Start / click Control Panel/ because of different OS look for the icon that has Regional and Language option in the name and double click on that one to open./ Regional and Language and there chose which one you want to apply. On some of the systems path for changing keyboard is Start/Control Panel/Regional and Language options / Languages tab/ Details button click / Settings tab and of course always approve the action with Apply and OK. Reboot the PC so the changes start to work. In settings option you will see Language bar button, click on that one, and Language Bar settings window will appear, check the box next to Show the language bar on the Desktop, and it will appear in right side of the start bar, which will allow you much faster access to change keyboard settings in the future. Reboot the PC so the changes can start to work. |
