When tried booting windows 2000 yesterday Blue screen greeted me with message KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (and some cryptic numbers in front of it). After that, I have rebooted computer and normally entered Windows, but this morning same thing happened. Is this some serious problem or some of the usual glitches? Maybe a Virus or other malicious software?

In most cases this type of error message points to bad driver or malfunctioning hardware. There are four parameters in hexadecimal number format after this message which indicates (more or less) what caused the problem. Unfortunately, they will be of no big help to average computer user so I recommend you to update or uninstall drivers noted in stop error or check hardware in question (as a last resort try removing troublesome hardware if after that everything goes well then your hardware is broken)
