| Ok, I admit I am complete newbie here, know nothing about computers. I was trying to change the look on my desktop, make icons smaller and thought there was some way to change the taskbar, and guess discovered in a hard way it can’t be done. Instead I just got the effect “taskbar putted in the wrong place” ( in this case right corner) effect. As a bonus I got a message that it was locked?! What is that?! So any suggestions, heh? |

| Hello, we embrace every newbie that comes in here. If there were no people like you, we won’t be here at all, don’t you think? For the future, before any new setting up experiment on your PC, I suggest finding and exploring some good Windows manual. It won’t hurt and less mess. And to fix this problem of yours: right click on the empty space on taskbar and click Unlock option. Return the taskbar to the previous position by holding the left click and drag it back down when it was before. If this doesn’t work re-boot Pc in a safe mode by pressing the F8 key when the” Starting Windows “message appears and chose the safe mode option. Any help in a matter of Windows you can get by pressing the F1 key. Hope this solved your problem. |
