upgrading to Internet Explorer 7

I use internet practically every day, at work and also at home. Since three months ago, I could not defend from all sorts of viruses. I even reinstalled my Windows XP from the beginning but it did not help for any longer period. A few days on the Internet and I would have the same problems again. I am thinking about upgrading to Internet Explorer 7. Are there any differences between Internet Explorer version 6 and 7?

There are few differences between those two versions, but the main thing is that Internet Explorer 7 is much safer then version 6. Therefore, do not hesitate to install newer version. To complete your Internet protection you would need some strong anti-virus software. By my own experience, a combination of SpyBot Search and Destroy and AVG should be the best tool for that. Both of those are freewares, and they are also very efficient. They are representing a deathly combination for viruses. The best proof for that is that I am also on the Internet every day, I am using IE 7 and OE 7 and I do not have any problems. If you have Windows XP do not forget to install Service Pack 2. Don't worry, this will certainly satisfy your needs.
