After reinstalling Windows XP Professional I can not make my sound card to work. I have Realtek AC97 sound card on board and I have tried several drivers for it but none of them works. It seems that I can not get this sound card to work and I can not find correct driver. Can you help me to solve this problem with audio driver?

If you have trouble with audio driver for sound card on board then you should install driver for motherboard. This driver have bundled sound card driver and then sound card will work. Motherboard driver can be found on motherboard manufacturer web site. Visit their web site, find your motherboard model and download required driver.
