Hello! I have two computers at my home. I am planning to switch motherboards. A friend of mine told me that I will face some problems if I do that. He does not want to told me what problems. Regarding the fact that I am not expert in this field, I am kindly asking you for help. Thank you in advance!

Hello! First of all, you will need to format your hard drives and that could be problem because if you do not make backup you will loose all of your data on them. Second of all, you must be sure that motherboards are compatible with other parts of hardware, because if they are not you will really face serious problems.
