Hey all I've recently started using uTorrent and Azureus and some other torrent clients, and it's been going really well, since I got a larger HDD at least, but I've also been hearing some worrying rumours about security holes that torrent protocols can leave in a system. Could someone give me a few tips on how to configure uTorrent for maximum security/privacy? Thanks,

First of all, you've made a good choice picking uTorrent because it's considered one of the more secure clients out there. Configuring it, however, is a choice between optimal speed and optimal safety, and it's usually an art to balance the two.
