slow down burning in Nero

This is really strange problem with Nero. I was able to burn DVDs on normal speed for some time, but now it seems that I can burn it only on 2x. It lets me choose proper speed but I noticed that during burning speed is like 2x. I have tried different media but had no luck so far. Do you have any suggestion for me?

Hi there. I do not thin that slow down in burning is Nero's guilt. More probable cause is Windows. Go to control Panel – System – Hardware – Device Manager and find IDE controllers entry. Expand this and right click on primary or secondary IDE controller and choose preferences. Go to advanced settings and choose DMA if available for transfer speed. This should do the trick.
