I'm worried about wireless access, and am looking into security options. Unfortunately, I don't know what a lot of this stuff means. My router is Linksys wrT45g, and I have the choice between WEP and WAP (pre-shared or not). What is the difference between the two? One more thing, I heard there is some way of locking access to Macs only, does my router support this, coz I can't seem to find it? Thanks.

About the differences between WEP and WPA, suffice to say that the latter offers far tighter security, and that if you have the choice, go for WPA. I never saw anyone recommending WEP sec if both options are available. Regarding setting limited access, I thing you may be confusing things here. You should be able to limit access to you’re your network's MAC, but that has nothing to do with Mac computers; anyway, this should be found under Filtering options somewhere.
