scanner not connected problem

I have bought HP scanner few months ago and I have never had any problem with it. But, now, when I attach it USB port I a getting message which saying that USB device is not recognized (balloon in the systray). Have you any idea what the cause if this problem could e and what would be possible solution?

Hello. It seems to me that you have a problem with connecting cable or with your USB port. I suggest you to try to connect your scanner to some other USB port and if you are facing same problem, then you should try with replacing connection cable. If you still getting this error message, your USB ports are damaged.
