Hi, guys. My new pioneer DVD RW is giving me a headache. Half the time I’m trying to burn the disc, it fails to be done. And when it comes to videos, I can’t burn them at all. Nero gives me some communication error message all the time. I suppose that it’s this double-layer technology that’s making all the trouble. Does anyone know a way for me to fix this?

I’ve also had some problems with a pioneer DVD RW unit and I’ve done a lot of research on this topic but I didn’t found an actual solution. Everybody says the same things I’ve already done but they didn’t help me. Still, it seems that it has helped some people so I’ll list them just in case. You have to have the latest drivers for your DVD drive. You also need the latest drivers for your mobo. And of course the latest software. And you should check the ASPI installation since there is a chance it’s corrupt.
