I had exactly the same problem. I had symptoms like modified homepage, or black back screen warning. I was really confused because I didnt know what is the problem, and how to solve it. I dont have much experience with internet and viruses and things like that. So I asked my friend to help me. He also told me that my system is infected. He installed me ad-aware. Trough scan it founded some dangerous objects. When we deleted them everything worked fine. I think that he also did some PS guard removal in control panel. Only, I am not sure in that. He did something there, but he was doing that fast, that I didnt catch the name of the program.
