I removed Norton AV two days ago when I started using Yahoo DSL. I wanted to start using their security package. But ever since then I have a strange problem. The Safely Remove Hardware icon is gone. Also, when I plug my USB memory, after I have finished what I needed to do with it, when I try to eject it through My Computer, I receive a message that says it is in use and I’m sure it’s not. What’s wrong with my pc?

I read about this kind of problem before. I think that it can be solved if you go to Add/Remove windows components then go to network services and uncheck the UnPnP line. As for you USB drive problem, you don’t need to worry. You can safely unplug it manually if you know it’s not doing anything and nothing bad will happen to neither your USB memory nor you PC.
