New Mac user w/router trouble, figures, doesn't it. My wireless Linksys WRT54G router drops the connection all the time, random intervals. Sometimes it won't connect at all, but this is rare. Works better after I turn off, wait, turn back on. Anyone willing to help w/troubleshooting? Thanks,

First thing you should try is switching to another channel. Interference can come from many sources - other local networks, cordless phones, etc. If changing channels helps, than interference is the problem. If it doesn't, your connection drops may be the result of some sort of compatibility thing I don't remember quite well – apparently there was an Airport card update that used to raise havoc with some wireless routers, may have been Linksys…
