| Hi there. I am unable to set my google home page. I am using internet explorer version 6.5 and few days a go I was looking for some crack, I wanted to try some shareware program. But, instead of reaching to the wanted spot, I have picked up some cool web search. And it is now my home page. Every time I try to set google.com back to default, after restart, cool web search rules again, and I am pissed off. How to remove this spyware, or whatever it is? Thanks in advance. |

| Well, why are you taking risk after all? Why are you downloading cracks? These sites are full with various kind of threats. Now, you are going to need two programs or three is you don’t have some antivirus installed. But, let’s say you do, ok? One of them is Hijack this and the other is Ccleaner. First, run ccleaner and scan the registry too. When done, start HiJack and perform scan. When the list appears, read carefully about anything that has something to do with the cool web search in any way. Delete without any backup. Perform the Cleaning with the ccleaner once more after the reboot. Uninstall the cool web search from the ccleaner 'remove programs' feature. |
