pioneer dvr-110d not recognized

I have bought new pioneer drive. I heard all the good things about this series. But when I connected it, pioneer dvr-110d was not recognized. I really dont understand the problem. I tried restarting my computer, but still I couldnt find drive. Does anybody have any suggestion? Thank you in advance.

Well I dont know about that series. I have dvr-109, and I am very satisfied with it. It is really good DVD R/RW drive and I have only to say good things about it. I dont know why your pioneer dvr-110d was not recognized. Maybe you didnt connect it like you should. You should check cables, and see if everything is ok. Maybe your OSX is old, so it doesnt recognize new versions of DVD drives. You should go to the shop where you bought your dvr-110d and ask them if they know where the problem is. I am sure that they will help you if they can.
