Hi. I would like to know if there is a possibility to retrieve my pictures that I once have placed on floppy disks. These are some pictures that are very important to me, I made it a long time ago, and stored on a floppy disks, since there was no better way to save it at that time. Now, my computer can barely read a few of these disks. How can I get my pictures back?

You can use some of recovery tools that will try to detect it and recover, if it is possible. I use Recover My Files software. It is a handy tool and I am satisfied with the job being done. It is the kind of overall recovery tool, which means, it works for hard drives, removable media, CDs, floppy… But I found a tool that is specialized for media such as floppy. It is BadCopy Pro. It states “Damaged floppy disk repair and floppy data recovery” so this might be even better tool for you. It is about 900 kb, just Google the name, and you will get some link to download.
