| Greetings. I want to claim more space for my root partition, because there are some programs I need to see, but they require a lot more of free space than I have available on the C drive. I have enough space on the secondary partition, but I don’t want to spread my installed programs all over the hard drive. I heard that’s not so good. I know that I can delete or remove some certain programs form my system in order to gain more free space, but believe or not, every single program installed is just necessary. So, how do I resize the partition? Thanks in advance. |

| The most easiest way to resize the partition is by Partition Magic. One of the most popular program from Symantec company (Norton). By using your mouse only, without any keyboard activity, you can change the partition size on your own, very easily. First you need to move or reduce the secondary partition, and then to “stretch” the C:, literally. This requires pretty much time to complete the whole procedure. Just be patient while Partition Magic is performing the task, nothing else. |
