Hello. I have two computers that are connected to cable internet via Linksys WRT54G router. The problem I have is that I can not play online games. A friend told me that I have a problem with closed ports on router. It is fine, but I do not know how open ports on router. Can you help me with this opening port problem?

Hi. Opening ports on router is not a problem. Open web browser and enter 192.168.1.1 in address bar. When log in prompt shows enter username and password (if you have not changed anything then username is blank and password is admin. Do not forget to change this when you finish with ports). Go to “Application and gaming” section and enter ports you would like to open. These ports you can find in game configuration. Save changes and exit.
