office 2003 SP1 does not install

I have a problem with office 2003 sp1. When I tried to install it yesterday the process stopped after just a minute or two and I got a message that it stopped because of some sort of unspecified download error – and nothing more! No explanation whatsoever! I tried it again and the same thing happened. Could anybody help me with this, it's really driving me nuts!? TIA.

I've heard that such things may happen if you've purchased a pirate copy. If that's the case then I have to say that the only solution is to get an original one. If the copy is not pirated one then it's probably a download problem. The file you downloaded is probably corrupt. You might want to try downloading it again. Other than this I have no idea why this may happen. I hope this helped.
