Don't know what to do, I just bought a new card and it's killing my machine! Whenever I start up something graphic-heavy, like any 3D game or anything like that, everything just turns off immediately! No blue screen of death, no freezing, nothing, it's as if I pressed the power button! Which I didn't, of course. My old card never gave me this kind of crap, and I'm seriously considering going back to ATI. What's the deal with this thing, how do I make it work?

Hate to break it to you, but it's possible this isn't a problem with the video card at all. Shut-downs like the one you describe are sometimes motherboard/casing issues… it could be that, when you were connecting your new card, you left the MoBo loosely connected to the case, and now it triggers the power off at random (or when your video card "goes into gear", doesn’t matter). It could still be the card, of course, so try updating the drivers, in case you haven't already.
