I have a computer for last three years. However, a month ago, I got Partition magic. I have heard that software could allow users to manage size of partitions on HDD. However, Partition Magic freezes often. I thought it was because of my HDD. I managed to found out manual on the Internet about how to use it and I bought 300GB Ultra ATA/133 HD yesterday. But after I plug in my new HDD, I still have an old problem with Partition magic. What is wrong with it?

I do not want you to think that I am preaching you, but I think you should think again about using software like Partition magic. That program could easily scramble your Windows. It can scramble it so bad that you cannot repair it and that way you may loose all the data on your notebook. I you still want to use it, at least, try to find somebody that has experience in working with Partition magic. You should ask him to explain you precisely how to work with it. Anyway, I don't think that Partition magic is freezing because of your HDD. You will possibly have to reinstall your Windows.
