Hello there. I am Luke and I am posting here for the first time. I have home network that consist of two computers. One is desktop computer with Windows XP Home edition and another one is laptop with Windows XP Professional edition with service pack 2. When I try to access shared files on laptop I get network error message that I do not have enough privileges. Can you give me any hint regarding this?

Hello Luke and welcome here. You have encountered one of the most common network error messages that plague novice network users. Windows XP Home and Professional edition have a little bit different networking and you will have to enable Guest account on Windows XP Professional (laptop) computer. Create user with exactly the same username password combination that you use to log on Windows XP Home and you will be able to access files on laptop.
