| Greetings. I have two kids at my home, crying over my head every single day. They want me to buy them some gaming PC. They want to play games, they are bored with the Console. I understand them, but I don’t understand what kind of PC is good for games? I do know that the games are the most demanding programs for the single home PC, but that’s all. Any suggestion or advice regarding hardware, which will satisfy my children’s needs is welcome. Thanks in advance. |

| Hello. The three most important things or hardware devices for the PC in your case are CPU or Processor, Graphic Card and RAM memory. Anyway, you can count on Intel’s motherboard with 955 chipset or higher, Core II Duo Processor at 2.66, Nvidia GeForce 7800 GT or GS should be enough, and around 2 gigabytes of Ram. Concerning the RAM brand, choose between Transcend or Corsair. Regarding Hard Disk Drive, you can freely buy Seagate with 250 GB of space or above. Pay attention on the Power Supply strength. Do not take brand with less than 400W. Other components are not so important, except the Display off course, for which I can tell, you don’t need some advises, right? Force your eyes to pick up, what is good for them. |
