| I'm using Windows Vista, and so far I've learned to hate v11 of the Windows Media Player. It's got a lot of these little "content handling" features that someone seems to have thought would be so useful they made it nigh impossible to disable them… Anyway, is there any way to remove WMP XI and install an older version onto this system preferably WMP IX? Or am I stuck with this version on Vista? |

AFAIK, there's no way to do what you're trying to do. So, it's either stick with the current version of WMP, or explore some of the other media players out there – god knows there's lots of them these days.
