nVidia firewall is not working

Or, I guess you could say that it's working too much: The thing is, I can't seem to get it to stop blocking the apps that I don't want it to block, such as my torrent clients, IM programs, etc. The prompts keep repeating, and I keep clicking yes, but to no avail. I could switch it off, but that's too risky, right?

What exactly do you mean by "the prompts keep repeating but to no avail"? Do you mean that the firewall is prompting you to decide whether or not to keep blocking a certain program? What happens when you click "no", is there perhaps a check box that denotes that the firewall shouldn't ask the same question again? Have you tried reinstallation?
