| Hi all, I'm in need of some assistance. I opened up my new desktop machine for the first time the other day, and after seeing what I wanted to see, I also noticed that my video card wasn't properly seated in the AGP slot. I wiggled it in better, but now the machine is completely locked, will not boot! I was going to unseat it again and see if that helps, but that sounded just silly. What should I do? TIA. |

| Apparently, you have a bad AGP slot. It sometimes happens that the contacts loosen up so that the card needs to be in an unusual (incorrect) position to work. It's not often, but it does happen. If I were you, I'd just take it in for repair, assuming it's still under warranty. |
