It's not entirely blocked, though. Video works normally, but voice doesn't. It's the same situation in both directions. Is it possible for a firewall to block it partially like this? I can't configure it myself, it's on school level, but I need to know if it's the firewall that's doing this or not, before I can go and talk to someone. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, it's possible. MSNM is obviously using one set of ports for video and one for audio. Apparently, the audio doesn't fall in the range of ports allowed by your firewall. So, contact the local admin and see if he'll expand the port range to allow for voice to go through as well.
