| Greetings. I am looking forward to setup one of these two email clients to start picking up my email messages from Hotmail. But, there is a confusion in my head with the above mentioned programs. Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express. I thought that the word is about one and the same program, which comes together with the Windows (I never saw ‘office’ which stands before Outlook) until I have performed new clean installation of Windows. Anyway, which one of these is better for using instead hotmail directly? Thanks in advance. |

| Hi there. It is very hard to say, because both products are coming from Microsoft. Outlook Express in integrated feature of Internet Explorer, while Microsoft Office Outlook comes later, if you want so. MS Outlook has got much more features then it’s older brother, and if you want to use it as calendar or organizer, than it is very wise choice. Outlook Express is nothing more but just very simple and very fast Email Client. And it is a lot more easier to configure than the other one. If you ask me, I would choose Outlook Express. If you want to read and send email’s only, then Outlook Express. If you want few more advanced features, than pick the other one. |
