I know very little about video editing in general, so I thought I'd ask here before I start messing about on my own. How can I join together 2 different Avis,so that they end up as a single file? What kind of software would I need? Would the files need to have the same size ratio, or bitrate, or whatever? Thanks for any help,

I'd recommend virtual dub, it's not too hard on the newbies and it's quite usable. And yes, the two files need to have the same properties if the merge is to work, so you might need to convert. If video quality/compression is the difference, you could always degrade one to the level of the other, though you would lose some quality.

I'm using for merge and split video - VideoCharge.
It it simple, support all video formtas, and heva option - merge without recompress (very fast, only if file is equal)
Recommeded. |
