My kid has gone out of control! His grades are dropping, he eats less and less, he doesn’t get enough sleep and all because of this Xbox I bought him. I feel guilty now but I don’t want to just take it away from him, I’d just like to limit the time he spends playing somehow. Is there such an option available on the Xbox? I’ve been looking for it but was unable to find it. Please help me!

There isn’t such an option on the Xbox – you’ve got the parental control option but it only regards the contents of the games but you cannot limit the time your kid spends playing trough it. There are some other ways to do this I think. One of them would be by an electronic power timer. You could put the power connection somewhere safe and then set the timer in a way that your kid could just play at the certain time of the day. I’ve also heard about some device called ‘Time Scout’. You might want to do a little research on it via Google.
