internet explorer popup problem

Hello! I am running Windows XP Professional operating system with Service Pack 2 installed and my default browser is Internet Explorer 6. I have a problem and I hope you will help me. Namely, popup are very irritating for me and I want to prevent their appearing. I have heard that it is possible to do in this browser, but I do not know how.

Hello! This is not a problem at all. Only you need to do is following: open your Internet Explorer and click on Tools menu. In drop down menu you will see Pop-up blocker. Just click on it and then click on Turn On Pop-up Blocker. After you do this, Pop-up Blocker will be disabled and you will nor have problem with pop-up.
