When I try to install Office 2003 on my desktop computer, it goes through just fine. When I try to install on my laptop (Compaq Presario R3000), the installation wizard gets as far as "caching cab files", then it gets to the file
CC561401.CAB
and it says "Cannot find CC561401.CAB" and it offers me a "browse" option with which to search for the file.
The puzzling thing is that the file is right there. It has size 1,681,457, dated 8/14/03. The same file from the same disk installs on my other computer just fine. Both are Windows XP. |
