| I’d like to know how to speed up my downloads. Everything goes slow, when I use bittorent or any other program. I’ve tried bittorent, uTorrent, Bitcomet, Azureus. Also emule. I have a 2 megabit connection but I get no more than 100 kB/s (its 0,8 megabit, a friend told me so). I turned off my firewall, I didn’t get any improvement. |

| I’m not really sure what’s the problem. Perhaps your ISP limits download rate for some peer-2-peer programs. Try to download programs directly from websites (e.g. download.com) and check the speed. If it is still that low, you have problem with connection, consult your ISP. Also, when choosing torrents to download, pick the ones with highest seed/peer ratio. |
