| I have a small problem with MS word. I am using regular keyboard, and want to input Chinese characters. How can I do it? Is there an update for that purpose? Language pack that I use is for traditional Chinese, Taiwan. But when I launch MS Word, I cannot find them anywhere. Can you give me a hint? |

Hello! Chinese uses a logo script, which is specially designed for languages with many words. Imagine a 200 keys keyboard, that would be large like a ping pong table. There are 3 input methods. Encoding, pronunciation, and characters structure. Basiclly, you have a menu from which you select one character. Context is also available in the same menu. Than, there is a OCR method. It works like regular OCR software, recognizing your hadwriting. You have to have write-board which allows you to input characters. Error rates are relatively small, if consider that Chinese characters are very complicated. Tablet-based system doesnt cost much money, and you can choose Stylus, ProLogic, or Hp table. OCR systems are generally more reliable than others. There are some systems which allow you to select appropriate English word. Program will offer you one of the Chinese translations, you can simply choose one thats best for you.
