I have a serious problem. Recently Mcafee antivirus started to act strangely and I have uninstalled together with Zone Alarm firewall. I tried to install AVG free edition but it would not install. Windows security center told me that Security Centre was not started or it is stopped. I checked startup items in msconfig and found out something called firewall_anti.exe. It doesn't sound good so I found this file but firewall_anti.exe cannot be deleted. Any suggestions?

Firewall_antu.exe is Netdeny virus. It will prevent you from installing any antivirus or similar security software and it is a real problem to remove. Disable system restore, find firewall_anti.exe.dll in system folder and try to delete it. Try to stop firewall_anti.exe process and visit some web site that offers free online scan for viruses. When you clean your system install some good antivirus and perform a full scan in safe mode.
