I have fdisk and the hdd question. I hope that someone will answer me. I am a newbie for computers. But I am very determined to find out and learn as much as I can about them. What is fdisk? What is it for? What is hdd? For the beginning I want to learn the basic terms. Any guidance is more than welcomed. Thank you in advance.

Hello newbie. Welcome to our world of computers. It is always nice when you see persons that like to learn new stuff. Especially about computers (they are my first and only love). I remember when my interest for computers began. Those were the days, my friend. HDD is your Hard Drive. It is for saving your data. You wouldnt be able to do anything on a computer without it. It is the brain of a computer. FDISK helps making hard disk to smaller unites (partitions). So you can better organize your data. I hope that I have helped you a little.
