| Are the ethernet drivers mandatory for Windows 98? I want to use the ethernet capabilities of Windows 98, but I dont know if this is possible without the drivers. I want to set up a small network in my house. I have four computers, and on one of them I have Windows 98, without ethernet drivers. Do I must install them, or I can just move on and setup the network. |

| Why are you still using Windows 98? That operating system is way too old. The Windows XP is much better for using Ethernet. It has an implemented drivers in the installation process. Because this, you dont need to install them. It is all done in the installation of Windows XP. Forget about Win98, and come to the world of today. |
