Unfortunately, I am unable to log into Windows anymore. In fact, I am not able to boot windows at all. When I try to boot it I receive error saying: Windows NT could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: Winnt_root\System32\Ntoskrnl.exe. Can you help me with this one, please?

It looks like Ntoskrnl.exe file is missing or corrupt, as message says. To repair this you will have to boot system with XP installation CD and log into Recovery Console using administrators password. When you log in, type following command in command line: expand cd-rom:\i386\ntoskrnl.ex_ drive:\Windows\system32 where cd-rom is a letter of your CD or DVD ROM and drive is letter of your hard drive partition where Windows is installed. I hope that this helps.
