Hello. Why does my emachine shows me an error when I am shutting down? There is some floppy drive not ready message, with three options: cancel, continue and ignore. Well, which one is for what, and where is the problem anyway? Because, floppy drive is working quite nice and there is no floppy in the drive! Thanks in advance.

Hi there. I think that your floppy drive might be damaged somehow. Or the floppy power connector is not plugged in as well, but the twisted flat data transfer cable is. You can call the eMachines store and report the problem to them, or you can open the case by your self (it is easy) and try to plug the small white power connector to the drive. By doing this you will know for sure what is happening.
