| I got a cd with some MAC software, but it was burnt on PC configuration. Is that matter? Anyway, may G5 Power MAC cannot read disk, and doesnt report any messages. What is the type of file system on MAC, is it fat 32 or what? I would appreciate if someone could recommend me some software for PC-MAC conversion. Thanks! By the way, on cd was Photoshop installation. |

| This is the first time I hear that. EMAC is supposed to read any PC-burnt cd, whether is it game, application, movie, musicThe question is do you use virtual PC on your eMAC. If you do, remove it if its possible, because sometimes it can be very tricky. Its supposed to protect your computer fro PC viruses, and in some situations it will block safe installations. Second issue is renaming file in eMAC. EMAC supports 8 characters in file name, and Windows much more. If you ever worked in DOS, youll know what I am talking about. There is a plugin, I think, which automatically converts long file names into eMAC format. I cannot remember its name, but I know that exists. If you find it, install it, and try to run your cd. I know that in some systems its unnecessary to convert long filenames. |
