| Hello there. I have Cannon power shot A 540 digital photo camera and a bunch of CD’s that came together with the one. I also have a bunch of images inside the cannon and I want to download them to my computer, because the memory is full. Now, do I need all of those CD’s just for that or they are included in the package because of something else? By the way, is this complicated? I never did this so far. Thanks in advance. |

| Hi there. No it isn’t complicated at all. Use the USB cable that you have received together with the cannon in the box. Power on the camera, and connect it via USB. The automatic detection of the adapter should occur if everything is ok with your system. Choose the option to browse the contents when the autoplay shows up, and with the copy/paste command, transfer them all in the desired folder. Those CD’s are there is you want to use your camera as a web cam or to replace your default image editor, but not needed for image transfer at all. |
