This is the error message I see each time I start up my system: "Error, C:\Windows\ System32\Tools\DelFolders.exe, Cannot find file" I have no idea what this DelFolders.exe thing is supposed to be, though it does sound vaguely familiar. I looked for it manually in the system folder and found nothing. I'm guessing it's something I deleted instead of uninstalling, and it was set to run at each startup, is this on the right track? How do I get rid of the message, then? Before you ask, "del folders" isn't listed in the startup folder.

A glancing google search seems to indicate that delfolders.exe is malware of some kind. Your general assumption is correct, it's "something" that's been set to start at OS boot, though it seems to have been at least partially removed. You'll just need to clean it out of the registry to stop iot form bothering you again: Search for and download the program called HijackThis, it will scan your system and provide a log which can then be used to remove unwanted registry entries.
