I’m really new to all this, so I apologize in advance if my question has already been answered before. I don’t know how to convert AVI files to DVD format, and I was unable to find a free program that can do it. Where can I find such a program? I really need help with this ASAP. Thanks.

You need not apologize for asking questions – that’s what this place is all about. Converting movies to DVD is not that simple and takes a lot of work. I think you might find this useful: .videohelp.com/guides.php?howtoselect=4;10#655. You can find some guides on how to do it using only freeware tools. I hope that this helps you.
