| I was playing Sims online when my system reported backtroyan. I knew that I was protected, because Ive installed new virus definitions. The problems started after reboot. Computer got lazy, like it was taking too long to start all the programs. I am using bittorent, winamp, Norton, Snarfer at a startup. I know that its a lot, bit my RAM is big enough. Is it possible that the actual problem is something else except virus? |

| We got to take a closer look at your system. What is your OS and is it a free copy? If you are using Linux distribution, which one is it? Debian can be very tricky when it comes to system tray programs. Windows servr on the other hand requires faster application loading, thus it requires larger mamory. It doesnt matter if you have the newest definitions, it wont help you with ver 3.0 or less. So, connect to your Antivirus site and upgrade you Antivirus. Do the virus scanning once again and check the report. What does it say? Is it a backdoor troyan or something else? The other solution would be to install SiSoft Sandra and to run the test. There is auto-recovery capability which will repair your system. Good luck! |
