Something odd happens to my DVD ROM device. I cannot play mp3 music on it! Movies are played ok but mp3 reproduction isn’t working! I must say that this is a very uncommon problem and I haven’t found anyone else who had the same problem! Do you know someone who did?

This problem of yours is simply impossible. If the movies run ok, I see no reason why the mp3 music wouldn’t run ok (I presume that mp3 music runs ok from your hdd). Maybe your DVDs are incorrectly burnt, or simply your MP3 music is not exactly MP3, but some other format that your computer cannot recognize.
