hello everyone. I need to install some important updates for new hardware and have a problem to download from Microsoft. The problem is due to WGA – KB892130 patch that I can not install on my computer, and it is a necessary to download, as I understood. I tried installing, but every time the result is the same. I can not download. Is there anyone that knows how to install this?

hello. Here I will give you a short description how to correctly do this that I found worked for me and other people. And one think to know is that Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Tool which is deployed by KB892130 is to prove your copy of windows to Microsoft as Genuine Microsoft product. So if all this is ok, here is how you do. You need to download psexec.exe file from and place it in root directory – C: Than after you download WGA update executable from:-
, install this one in C:\temp folder. Rename the file to WGA.exe since original file too long. The next and last thing you need to do is to type following in DOS command line: psexec -i -s c:\temp\WGA.exe
This is about all the work and I hope will do the job for you.
