can't connect to internet on vista

It seems that I have some trouble with Vista. I can go to internet from linux, but cant from Vista. I have no idea why. A lot of people told me that I shouldnt use Vista, because its full of bugs (like every Microsoft OS), but I didnt listened them. Now, dont know what to do I have wireless modem.

I am user of linux, too and Im not too familiar with Vista, but I would recommend you to see if you have installed everything properly and does Vista see your modem:
Click start - Control Panel (classic view) - System - Advanced System Settings - System Properties - Hardware - Device Manager.
