I am in network and I am trying to go to the internet last few days, but it seems that is impossible. On the other hand, my Ethernet works just fine. So, I am a little bit confused. I have all permissions to go to the internet and I just can not get it why I am not able to go. My network administrator is on holiday, so, I ask you for help. Is there anything what I can do?

You have to check net mask and check if your DHCP server from main server gives you IP address. To check net mask go to start, then control panel, then network connections, then right click on local area connection, then click properties, then go to TCP/IP, then properties. Check if you get your IP address and DNS server address automatically. If you get them automatically and you cant go to the internet, you have to wait your network administrator.
